The collaboration between maxjenny!, Jonas Bohlin and Ingridsdotter explores how a space can be transformed through the meeting of furniture, textiles and art.
Created for Jonas Bohlin's iconic room divider, Maxjenny developed a series of large-scale textile prints that become more than a backdrop. They define the atmosphere of a room, creating moments of privacy, movement and visual presence while allowing light to flow freely through the space.
Inspired by natural forces rather than literal landscapes, the collection captures the fluid movement of smoke, water and light. Layers of colour dissolve into one another, creating abstract compositions that constantly shift depending on perspective and surrounding light. Each textile invites a different experience from every angle.
The collaboration reflects a shared design philosophy. Jonas Bohlin's timeless structures provide clarity and restraint, while Maxjenny's expressive visual language introduces emotion, colour and movement. Together they create objects that are both functional and sculptural—pieces that shape a room as much as they furnish it.
For Maxjenny, this project continues an ongoing exploration of how one visual language can move freely between fashion, interiors and art. A print should never be confined to a single surface. It should have the freedom to live wherever people experience design.
